Need help to buy a Washing Machine [budget max 15k]

Hi,
I'm posting it on behalf my friend who is looking to buy a Top loading Washing machine.
>Its for family of 3 and water pressure is average.
>His family stays in semi urban area so have to go with big brands like LG ,sammy , whirlpool or any other brand which has good service network.
>I don't know whether to go with semi-automatic or Fully automatic(because i heard fully automatic requires more water . I need some inputs on the same)

So plz suggest me good washing machine which fits above requirements.

Is the water pressure a problem or the amount of water it will use? Low pressure means a fully auto will take more time to fill that's all. I would suggest staying away from a semi-auto, too much of a PITA as well as not as good wash quality. I was on a somwehat limited budget and bought a panasonic 6.2kg for about 14k. Pretty satisfied with the wash quality and i can just about select the program options to my suiting.
