Need help to play backup discs on my XBOX 360

I have a XBOX 360 Elite. with a LiteOn DVD drive. I need to make it able to play back up games ... I am in Pune. So please let me know if any TE member can do it for me in Pune / Mumbai.

I visited two places in Pune but could not trust those guys...

Any help will be appreciated... I can do it myself if some one can lend me the kit...

As I see it, he is asking if he can play back up games on the XBOX. Since he has not mentioned it, he is of course talking about buying the original games and taking a backup so that the discs do not get spoilt. Also hacking the console is not illegal. I think the ruling is still awaited.

So this thread is fine.

Yes I can. I am just asking help to play backed up disc on my xbox. Backed up discs created from original discs that i own ... not talking piracy or anything else here.

Similar threads have been here in this very section from time to time.

@Renegade : yeah only backing up original discs so that the expensive discs don't get damaged....

So use ImgBurn to create ISO from discs

Its not as easy as just burning a disc and playing it...
The DVD rom FW needs to be modified before that...
 
I very well know what needs to be modified and what not , its just that the way needs to be addressed.

There are tons of VDOs on YouTube showing how to and what to modify... But I dont have the resources so I am looking either for the h/w or for someone else doing it for me by charging some amount....
Now if you cant help out please stop polluting the thread with your -ve gyan....
 
Have you ever used JungleFlasher ? or do you have Soldering skills if yes i can pass on the details via PM.
 
No I have not used JungleFlasher and I hae seen vdos that now do it without soldering anything on the DVD-ROM. But I can get the soldering done from a friend who repairs mobiles... So U can pass the details.. Lets see if that works without any extra hardware...

Instead why don't you suggest him the contact of the guy who resides in Bombay from whom you got your console modded? I believe Allwyn and several others in the forum and IVG as well, modded theirs from this guy.

Ravi, if this is the first time you are flashing your drive, then you'll definitely need the CK3 probe kit to extract the drive key. If it's 7xxx series Lite-On, then you won't need any soldering tools. My suggestion would be to download the latest version of Jungle Flasher. It has a step-by-step tutorial listed in a PDF. It's extremely useful and very simple to use. I was planning to updating my firmware to IXtreme LT+ the same way, but seeing as MS is going to implement a new disc format "XGD3", it would hardly be worth the effort. But you can back up your current titles and play it on LT+ firmware.

Yeah I have a Liteon series With f/w ver: 74850C and HW ver: AOA1.
I have never flashed it before.
So what all will I need?
1) A CK3 prpbe Kit.
2)Jungle Flasher,
3) LT+.

Anything else?
 
Actually the reason why i was asking so much of questions is because i wanted to know whether he is comfortable in doing so or not, also he seems to be in Pune and the modder from me and Allwyn had modded the console is in mumbai and as far as i know the modder does not takes responsibility for shipping the console.

In reference to modding -

If you are not confident of soldering get a probe and just follow the instructions

Or if you are good at soldering the R707 and R708 points but you lose laser calibration data(mind you it means nothing)

Also make sure if the console is under warranty, then warranty sticker is being maintained if you are out of warranty then you can ignore this part.
 
Thanks guys... Got in contact with a TE member who does this in Mumbai and a local guy here in Pune is also ready to do it.
Think that this will be finished by wknd hopefully :)

well, atleast u accepted. The last game I pirated was, umm, wait.. yeah wasn't worth it(starts with home), the one before that gave me headache in 15 minutes(storm?), and another one which made me sick of how long they can pull a game like a hindi tv serial(brotherhood?)
