Storage Solutions Need Help to RMA Toshibe HDD with US Warranty

Guys I have a Toshiba 2.5" external HDD which has stopped working. It was bought from US by my friend. I've checked and see that the item is still in warranty.

Toshiba India does not support warranty for HDD.

Need help to RMA the item. Please let me know the best possible way to resolve this.
