Laptops Need Help to upgrade to 120hz Screen Lenovo Y50-70 users

Get a new laptop instead.
If this laptop was not sold with this specific screen, it may lack some hardware/software driver which will help drive the screen at 120 Hz.

I have a Lenovo Legion Y540 which has 120+ Hz screen. I really don't feel that much of a difference when I go back to my office laptop which has a 60 Hz screen.

Sadly out of funds now mostly need high refresh rate on csgo
