Need help understanding "Write Article, Earn Money" Funda

Well now i guess a day or two back there was this thread on how to earn money online.There someone mentioned associated contents and writing articles and stuff.

Now today i also recieved a mail from India Broadband Forums, asking me to submit an article till midnight and earn Rs 100. No topic just anything on tech basically.

So now I am confused, for one why would someone pay you 100 bucks (or even more as people seem to state there) to write 300 words of just about anything.And that too you can multiply that as many times you want and they will still continue to pay you. Is this a gimmick to get traffic on the website or does this stuff actually work and earning money is even a degree more easier than i thought??

Please explain.

And yea i did google and wiki this but nowhere did i find a proper explanation as to how do people use the submitted articles to make money.

in short: you write an article and earn Rs 100 while the guy claims ownership of your content and posts on his website and earns millions thanks to the ads pasted on the site. the end.

better to register your own website/domain and start a blog with good content and sign up for ads like google adwords.. .make all the money for yourself.

But dude, making your own blog/website is a painful process. Also in this case you don't have to worry about your post being liked or not, or being visited or not.Is the reward of having a big audience to your website really that great??

Anyone can give me exact details as to how much does someone earn through google ads or otherwise. Aren't they pay per click basis and no1 ever clicks them??

Just a domain and host setup wordpress and start a blog adsense is slow bt once ur sites get enough traffic and well maintained with good content u ll love but i take it as a passion.

it depends on what the person is good at or what he can do well.

writing stuff and selling it would get you payed surely and there isnt much anything else you have to do. but yes, the amount is limited to the quality and quantity you have.

if you set up your own website/blog, it takes a more effort and time to get something in return. however, once you get the hang of it you can scale it bigger and the returns just keep increasing.

Before you have decided to get a domain/host and start a blog, see if you can consistently deliver (quality & quantity) on the topic(s) chosen for the blog to last atleast 6 months or 12 months if you plan to make money through it.

Once you have a healthy number of visitors and when Google's AdSense really kicks in, you'll have very little to worry about.

Alternatively, you can also be a freelance content writer wherein you can join freelancing sites and work for separate clients.
