Please provide your full configuration to get any help. Also mention which power supply (PSU also called SMPS) you have.

You are using an elcheapo PSU

Please change your PSU and don't plug the gfx until you change the PSU

Gigabyte 460w - 2.2k

Corsair VX 450 - 4k

You surely need a better power supply!!! Dont attempt anything with that one.

Get yourself a Corsair VX450 (Rs. 4k) or atleast Corsair CX400 (Rs. 3.2k)

Switch ur PSU NOW BUDDY OR UR RIG WILL DIEZ!!!

Atleast a Gigabyte 460w, maybe u wont require more as its a green edition, power intake is far far les than normal ones.

Get VX450, it will give some headroom for any future upgrades. And you wanna OC? If you have no idea what it is, then don't do it. If you're still curious, get the basics right first from the net and do.

if its just a case of going into the bios screen and copying exactly what a guide does im sure i could do it however if theres soldering and all that shit i wont do it

you got a quaddy, i'd say stay away from oc'ing it right now. maybe a year later, for now it'll suffice.

You need to get your facts right?

Ocing is not a copy paste job.It needs patience and some calculations. No two systems overclocks in the same way.
