Need help with shoe size

I had bought two shoes online - A Nike Black and a Adidas White/Red from Bestylish sometime back - 999 sale.

The Nike is UK 9 and US 10, made in Thailand and is a good, snug fit.
Adidas is UK 9 and US 9 1/2, made in India and is a cramped fit.

JFYI. Due to the nature of the sale, no returns. This happened earlier too, I just gave the shoes away to a friend.

(M) == mens
2E = Width of the shoe.
Width is denoted by 2A, B, D, 2E, 4E (narrowest to widest)
If no width is mentioned, assume it is D.

So how do we calculate the width in India then how should we assume what size is 2A, B , D, 2E & 4E. are there any specific numbers for each of them?

Unfortunately, the alphabets for width don't correspond to a number. If no width is mentioned, assume the Indian equivalent is D.

You also have to read the reviews. You will notice the review on this shoe says Timberland runs narrow. That means that 2E in timberland is closer to D in other brands. So if you usually wear a US 10 in Indian shoes, , 10.5 2E for this shoe will work well for you.
