So this friend of mine is gettin a system put in his OHC which he inherited from his dad. Looking for everthing : HU, Rear Speakers, Front Comps, Amp and a Sub.. Now his basic requirements are just clear sound! Nothing fancy.. Good VFM. Like i stated in the title, budget around 25k and it'd be nice if the quotes would stick to that figure

Headunit - Pioneer 6950 for approx 9k.
Amp - Pioneer 4 Channel Gm6200 for approx 5.5k.
Sub - Pioneer 306 or Jbl 12" in Custom Made Sealed Box for approx 4.5k.
Front - Jbl Compo for approx 4.5k with bill and warranty.
Rear - Jbl Co-axials for approx 3.5k with bill and warranty.
Total will be around 27k.

Yeah am a member of Tbhp for more than a year now but not really an active member at all so was a lil finicky bout posting there. Well i guess i mite post there.

Both are good Vfm amplifiers but Jbl will cost you little much more because it comes with bill and warranty.
