Need info on buying from Flipkart using EMI (HDFC Credit Card)

I got my Credit Card(HDFC) just a week ago. Have not made any purchases with it yet.

I was looking to buy a Lenovo P780(around 17k-18k) from Flipkart. Flipkart has an EMI option for that phone.
If I choose a 3 or 6 month EMI for that phone, when will I have to pay my first installment? Will it be the end of this month or will it be next month?

I have read about the billing cycle of credit cards. Does the start date of the billing cycle depend on the day the card was issued? Or is it same for every card holder of that bank?
 
The first emi will be due on from your bill generation date which is generally due in around 15 days. Look at your letter which must have come along with the card, it has all the details like your billing cycle and due dates. Everyone has different due dates according to when card is issued. They generally categorize all cards due dates in 5-6 dates in the month.
 
Billing cycle is same for everyone. HDFC issue bills on 4th of every month and you have to pay it before 24th.

So if I buy it today, will I get the bill on 4th January and payment due date will be 24th Jan?
Or will I have to pay the first EMI by 24th Dec?
