PC Peripherals need info on rig config

hi everybody,

this is yuvaraj,i am working as an telecom engg in AIRTEL. i am from chennai.i came across this website accidentally and now i am addict to it:ohyeah: .i am buying an new rig i have listed my config pls comment.

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3000+ S939 Venice 90nm
Mobo - ASUS A8N-Sli Premium
Cabinet - Antec SLK 1650B
GPU - Leadtek Winfast PX6600Gt TDH
Monitor - Samsung SyncMaste 793MB-T/T (17 inch monitor)

i am not planing to buy HDD has i have already one.pls pls suggest me where i can best buy it from chennai.my primary use will be lots and lots of gaming. pls suggest any other good config uder 40K.pls suggest RAM also.

P.S initially was planing to get an Intel System with intel mobo.after seeing this website i switched to AMD yeah.. AMD rocks:cool2:
 
Here is my suggestion

CPU-AMD Athlon 64 3200+ venice---Rs.7850/-

Mobo-Asus A8N-E-5800

GPU-Leadtek 6600GT 128MB DDR3-9000(not sure)

Monitor-Viewsonic E70fsb/E71f -6700/-

PSU- Antec Smart Power 2.0 400W-3600/-

Ram-Transcend 2*512Mb UCCC chip-4400/-

Mouse-Iball Laser-750/- good for gaming

Keyboard-Logitech Multimedia -450/-

Total-38550/- I have not included optical drives, HDD, speakers in the above config. I have mentioned A64 3200+ b'coz 3000+ have become costly(Rs.6500/-) due to the low availabilty and also AMD has stopped the production of those CPU afaik. Refer www.deltapage.com for the prices.

The above price are only appx. to give you an idea. Regarding the cabinet you can either go for the Antec SLK 1650 which includes a SP 2.0 350 for Rs.4200/- or you can go for Antec SLK3000B which costs 3200 only for the cabinet.

You can get these products in Ritchie Street, Delta Peripherals is the shop where i get most of my things.
 
thanks a lot saiyan i'ii go for the config u specified except for Cabinet and PSU.is it better if i go for Antec SLK 1650 which includes a SP 2.0 350 for Rs.4200 or Antec Smart Power 2.0 400W-3600 for PSU and cabinet Zebronics (man zebronics have quite a collection). my primary need is gaming i will play 6-7 hours continously.

go for the Antec SLK 1650 which includes a SP 2.0 350 for Rs. 4200 it's more than enough for the config. given by Saiyan.
 
can any one tell me whther antec slk 1650b has 24pin connector.i heard that ASUS A8N-E requires 24 pim connector
 
The Smart Power 2.0 has 24pin connector but it is not necessary to use 24pin for A8N-E even a 20pin will do. I think SP2 350W is quite enough for your system.
 
I think if Quality of Antec PSU is same as earlier, then SP 2.0 350 should be enough for now!!:)
But i guess it wouldn't harm to have that extra power of SP2.0 400 in case you add any HDDs or optical drives later!!:ohyeah:

BTW, wait for Anish and/or PM request for help!! He's busy with Exams But will help coz he's a nice guy!!:)

He's was using SP350 for quite some time and will be the best person with FHI!!:hap2:

procy i will be getting it in next week.Monitor... once i get my salary.now guys pls tell me the prices are OK. i got all these from Delta.
