Need information on Component cable for PSP

Hi All,

I am planning to buy the component cable for my PSP Slim, i have few questions in my mind,

1. Will the component cable (5 pins as output) work on the normal TV or should i get a LCD tv for that?

2. I want to watch movies and also play games using this cable, so wanted the component cable not the AV cable, should i get it from SONY world or the gray market peice will work fine?

If any one is using please reply with pro's and con's.

1. Its not necessary to buy LCD TV to be able to use the component cable, main issue is that TV should be HD ready.

2. I have the same cable i bought it from dealextreme site. the quality is good and its cheap too.
 
Meaning, if i go with a Sony WEGA, will i be able to play games with it.
How much does it cost? How much will be the lenght of the cable?
 
well not too sure about whether it would play on WEGA or not.. you have to check it yourself whether it has the component cable option in it...

about cost of the cable it will be around $8 (rs 400)

length is about 3 feet...
