I recently moved in to Mumbai ....and need to get a new laptop.... I've always heard about this Lamington road and since I am new to Mumbai, I have no idea how to get to the place from NITIE, Near Vihar lake ,where I stay.
I would appreciate a fes suggestions for a decent laptop within 30k or maybe 35k max.... I am also hoping to be able to play at least a few games (Like CIV4, WC3....) at okay-ish frame rates....In that case- I assume that the Acer 4530Z with The AMD would be recommended.....any alternatives would be welcome... Looking at Intel solutions too (even if that means sacrificing on gaming)...so please suggest which lappy to get and yes.....also How to get to the place. No personal vehicle available .
One more thing: I would be more inclined to get notebooks without OS or with Linux (for obvious reasons)
I was also looking at dell inspirion 1545 with T6400 & 2GB RAM (not sure about model no.) with widescreen 15.5" display which a friend recently got for abt 35.5K.
I wonder if the deal posted in hot deals section over here (Where some dell representatives was making laptops available around 25k) could still be availed ?
