Please help me find a laptop which serves the following requirements. I need to place the order within a week's time.
What's your Budget?
Limit to 50K. More only if sufficiently justifiable till 60/70K
What will be your primary usage for the notebook be?
1. Primary usage - Photoshop editing / Development work on Eclipse, Visual Studio, VMWare (listed the heavy software )
2. Secondary usage - Watching HiDef movies, TV Shows, Gaming like COD / Batman / Crysis at medium resolution
What size and weight considerations do you have?
1. 1920 x 1080 - helps me view multiple windows while doing developing work
2. 14 to 15 inch. Any larger would be difficult for lap work and carrying around
3. Weight - as light as possible
Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest?
No idea. Good build quality and ASS require. Dell / HP ..??
Any other considerations?
1. Need Backlit keyboard to work during night.
2. Good Battery life of atleast 4Hr on max usage, 6 would be awesome
3. Want fast response time. Hence prefer a single large SSD or one small 128GB SSD and 500/1000GB HDD.

5. Do any laptop models have touchscreen input so i can test my Win8 apps on it and save buying a tablet

I am avid desktop user and this will be my first self laptop purchase. Also will purchase Win8 so no OS or bloatware required.
