Laptops need new motherboard for laptop

hey,guys...i have toshiba m35x-s329. it has problem in motherboard the display is blank...so i showed it to toshiba service center..and they told me that there is issue with some display chip on motherboard ....so, i agreed with them and reply positively to repair it.........but after 4-5 days they told me that after replacing the chip,your laptop hangs on boot.....it does not start up......and they advice me to replace the motherboard in rs.7000/-........which i think is too costly for 5 year old laptop.........

so, can you guys point me out chip motherboard for my laptop?

hi inderesh... the chip-> vga card

same happened to my 2 yr old vaio.....its adviseable to get ur mobo changed if u wish to keep ur laptop as repair would cost u almost same.. personally i would suggest you to get rid of it. I did the same.
