PC Peripherals Need new SMPS

What's the current price for a good SMPS.Budget is around 2K.
Dont want a Powersafe cause I have one (400W)and the PC keeps shutting down while playing games:mad: (little more than a year old).Is there any other brand (coolerMaster..etc )in my budget.I basically need a good quality one that can handle this rig and wont crap out under load and our weather :

AMD64 3000+
2*512MB DDR
2 HDD(one IDE(40) and one SATA(160))
GeForce 6800GS(OC'd)
1 DVD writer
1 floppy
2 fans
 
het your self the 380 w cooler master extreme @ 1750 @ SMC DELHI prices. am sure it will take your rig. or else there might be options like zebronics also.

in between u sure its because of your SMPS ? it might be a issue it windows or your GPU drivers if you have updated them recently.
 
Well I did try re-installing the drivers,but got the same results.Do you really think XP could be causing this?
I mean shouldnt the game crash to the desktop instead of shutting down? Maybe i'll try annother copy of Windows first before getting an SMPS.Thanks buddy.:D
