iOS Need opinions on Ipad Mini 6th Gen in 2025

Sister wants a smaller tablet. The only decent option in the android side seems to be Lenovo Legion Tab (SD 8+ Gen 1) but the battery life seems low and the software experience dubious. Ipad Mini 7th Gen seems too expensive for her needs which is mostly media consumption. Preowned Ipad Mini 6th Gen costing around 31k seems to be the better option right now. I personally have no experience with apple or ipads so would appreciate some opinions from people who have used or are using the Ipad Mini 6th Gen.

-Is the performance good enough for the next 3-4 years?
-How long does Apple usually provide software updates?
-Is there anything specific I need to look out for while buying a preowned ipad? As I said I have zero experience with ipads.
-Are there any trusted shops in Mumbai that sell preowned/refurbished ipads?

Any help is appreciated!

Note that iPad mini 6th gen has 4gb ram. This is a big limitation if you want to use it for multitasking.

iPad air M series (used) should be available for similar price and is a performance powerhouse.

There is one more shop based in Bandra (West) if you can make it there. They sell refurbished products with a small duration warranty and take credit and debit cards. They have a website www.sahivalue.com . Do check them out online for inventory. I would prefer going in for a F2F deal in case of pre-owned items.
