Need options for 2nd mobile

Hi All,

I am already having HTC HD2 which I am using with Vodafone (Roaming).

Now I have bought another SIM card (GSM) for calls and GPRS (specifically to use Google Maps with GPS).

Now I can see two options as of now

1. Put my new SIM in HD2 and use my roaming number in another cheap mobile with which I can sync contacts with HD2. (PREFERRED OPTION)

2. I can go for some cheap/mid range mobile with built-in GPS to use with my new SIM. If this option is chosen then I would prefer to have phone with front-facing camera and 3G support.

Budget : 1k to 10-11k

Fellows please suggest which option, which model to choose

you don't need a new phone, just stop using your Mumbai Vodafone no. and send everyone your new no. including me.

On a serious note may be Nokia E5 suits your need. but it doesn't have front facing camera.

Then may be E72 or E52

It seems I chose option 2

Yep ... I tried to sync my contacts with friend's android mobile and facing issue with some of the contacts having too many numbers in one contact itself.

So I am thinking to get some cheap windows mobile (preferred) or android mobile.

Can you please point out some names ?? :S

since u have hd2 u already might have enjoyed the thrill of using all 3 os like winmo , android and winphone7 . so i think its better to go for a nokia hand set with promising battery life . ( atleast thts wat they say )

however if u are considering android : i would say zte blade (about 9k but no warranty) or Lg optimus one (10.9k in local market i think)

htc smart if considering windows mobile

symbian i am not sure ... havnt used any ..

E5 anyday,I also had the hd2 and the battery was giving a lot of headache.Bought the E5 as a secondary phone,it did every basic things(calls,texts,mails etc)so perfectly that I ended up selling the hd2!

yep ... enjoyed all three OS ... and I like WinMo 6.5.3

That's the reason I am looking for Windows Mobile only now.

I sent my one of contact to android 2.2 mobile .. it got it correct but when I send it back to my HD2, I got only half of the information

so android is not for me as of now

I checked htc smart ... isn't it Brew platform ??

well for simple tasks that you have mentioned, hd2 is overkill ... anyways I don't have any problems with my HD2's battery life and will be my primary mobile

just as of now looking for some cheap windows mobile 6.5 atleast

guys ... any suggestions? Any place in Bangalore where I can see lots of mobiles (imported) ?
