Segate 1TB HDD-5k
Corsair CX430V2-2.4k OR Seasonic S12ii 520W-4k[If you're going to add gpu later then it's good to get seasonic psu now]
Dell ST2220L-8.5k[You'd get Full HD Monitor within that budget]
Nzxt Gamma-2.4k
APC 650VA UPS-2.5k
If you want to overclock then-
Intel i5 2500K-13.5k OR i5 3570K-15k
Asus P8Z77M-PRO-12.5k
Rest as above.

@millionaire007 an over-clock capable RIG in that budget is a pipe-dream.

Here is what I suggest --

Intel Core i5 2400 ~10500/-
GIGABYTE-B75-D3H ~4500/- [from flipkart.com]
Corsair Vengeance 2GB x2 1600MHz ~1800/-
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB [64MB cache] ~5000/-
HP [boxed] optical drive ~1000/-
Cooler Master GX550W ~4500/-
Cooler Master eLite 430 BLACK ~3000/-
DELL IN2030M ~6500/- [a 20" LED back-lit monitor that will get you decent widescreen experience without breaking the bank, only con is that it does not support 1080p resolution]
APC BR1100VA-IN ~5000/-

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

For a GPU you want to add later to this RIG, these are your options --
  • AMD HD7850 2GB ~16500/-
  • AMD HD7870 2GB ~22500/-
  • nVidia GTX660Ti ~23000/-

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Corsair CX430V2-2.4k OR Seasonic S12ii 520W-4k[If you're going to add gpu later then it's good to get seasonic psu now]
Nzxt Gamma-2.4k

Emboldened products are unavailable in Nehru Place.

You forgot to add Full HD Monitor,It's better if op gets new monitor which would give him better visual don't you think?,OP should go for Dell ST2220L-8.5k instead of 20" as monitor is a one time investment he should get Full HD monitor within that budget.

550W is required for an i5 and 7850?

what would you suggest for i7-2600 + 7770 + 8gb DDR3 RAM and two hard disks?
was thinking of S12II430W? Is it okay, or do i need 520W? will order one of them today.

I saw CX430v2 in some shop in nehru place about 10 days ago. but he was asking 2800 for it, too close to S12II 430.

For that a Cooler Master GX450W OR Corsair CX v2430W will be enough, considering that you are not over-clocking OR going to add any more beefy components.

If that is not the case, then the Corsair GS 500W OR Seasonic S12II 520W should be in your crosshairs, these will ensure power for now and a substantial reserve in-case you add anything in the near future. I doubt the Seasonic SMPS are easily available in Nehru Place, at-least I have not seen one.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Please exclude the monitor & UPS & HDD too because I already have 500GB HDD, i think I should have to wait for the price reduction. Now tell me about the i7 processor?

Thanks Alpha, my rationale is around 450W the options
CX430v2 ~ 2700
GX450 ~ 2800
S12II430 ~ 3000
Corsair is 2 year warranty vs 5 year for the others so dropped. CM has mixed reviews and Seasonic is a proven, blindly trusted product for 6% more so going with Seasonic S12II430W. Ordering from ebay right now.
Thanks for helping me decide.

Whatever you say,We thought it'd been better if you do work on Full HD resolution as you're going to add external gpu to your rig.You didn't mention you had HDD in your template hence we suggested. If you want i7 then-
Intel i7 2600-17k OR i7 3770-19.5k
Gigabyte B75M-D2H-4.5k
Gskill Ripjaws 2X2GB 1600mhz-1.7k OR Corsair XMS3 2X2GB 1600mhz-1.7k
Cooler Master GX550W-4.5k
Nzxt Gamma-2.4k
APC 1.1KVA-5k
You won't be able to overclock this rig,Hope this clears things.

Why hijacking the thread?,Corsair CX430V2 has 3 year warranty and solid A.S.S compared to any other company. If you're not adding anything above HD7770 then it's enough.

CX430v2 ~ 2700

@millionaire007 a Core i7 based system will eat upto [SUP]1[/SUP]/[SUB]2[/SUB] OR [SUP]1[/SUP]/[SUB]3[/SUB] of your 40000/- budget and you will not be able to buy any other component [monitor, cabinet, SMPS etc etc]. But this is what I would suggest --

Also you stay in Delhi, I stay in Dwarka and power cuts can kill a system the electricity is that poor here.

Intel Core i7 3770 ~18500/-
GIGABYTE-B75-D3H ~4500/-
G.Skill RIPJAWS 4GB x2 1600MHz ~3600/-
HP [boxed] optical drive ~1000/-
Cooler Master GX550W ~4500/-
Cooler Master eLite 430 BLACK ~3000/-

If you want an over-clockable RIG --

Intel Core i7 2600k ~17000/- + Cooler Master V6GT ~3600/-
ASUS P8Z77-M PRO ~11500/-
[rest configuration same as above]

Please note that neither configuration has a graphics card so gaming will not be a viable option on these systems. Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Nzxt Gamma-2.4k

Tejas, no NZXT products are available in Delhi!

Told this to you earlier as well.

Okay, you are welcome. So you ordered the Seasonic S12II 52-0W OR 430W?

The Cooler Master GX450W would have been a better buy in my opinion as the after sales part would have been clear-cut and easy.

Thanks for your info Alpha, OK I have few things in my mind, could you please help me out. What about i5 3570k Processor with any z77 series motherboard (ASRock z77 extreme6,
ASUS P8Z77-V PRO in my mind, don't know which one would be better
). Rest config.

will be the same as u mentioned earlier. I can

Thanks in advance,

Forgot about Nzxt,Noctua NH U12P SE2-4.2k OR ZALMAN CNPS9900A-3.6k would be way better than CM V6.Also the ivy bridge processor heats up too much hence suggested i7 2600.

Here is a review that the Cooler Master V6GT is at par with the Noctua cooler [the only advantage with the latter is silence] -- Cooler Master V6GT Review | techPowerUp / Cooler Master V6GT CPU Cooler Review - Cooler Master V6GT CPU Cooler - Legit Reviews / Cooler Master V6GT CPU Cooler | Cooler Master V6GT,RR-V6GT-22PK-R1,Review,CPU Cooler,Heatsink,Cooler Master V6GT CPU Cooler RR-V6GT-22PK-R1 Benchmark Performance Review.

Chirag gave me the same review (techpowerUP!) before I bought the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 with his help.

Yes the noise factor has to be considered deeply as many guys get cooler for silent and cool performance,Also the size is little big and difficult to mount on cpu. It's better to go for Noctua or Zalman as they have advantage.

If size and bulk is what you are talking about then again I must correct you, installing the Noctua solo on my motherboard inside the cabinet was hell. To properly route cables I had to remove the entire motherboard, put the cooler and then do the wiring [no a pleasant exercise].

I have installed the Cooler Master V6GT in Bangalore and thanks to the backplate for Intel it was a decent job, at-least I did not pull the motherboard out of his cabinet.

Yup i've heard that installing Noctua is also pain in the a$$,OP will go with non K rig i guess.

Let us see what OP chooses.

On a lighter note I remember when I first got the RIG, the shop-assembler did not know how to put the Hyper 212+ on the processor, so he tested the system for me and said it is easy... ghar jaa kar karlena [go home and do it] and I like a naive idiot nodded my head and followed that night I spent 3 hours on that task. Put the satisfaction was ultimate.

Hey you didn't answer me :(
Please suggest me :hail: which one is better as I only have 1 day to decide.

Processor: i5 3570K or 15 3550 (if I choose i53570k I guess I have to purchased a z77 series motherboard which will increased my budget)
Motherboard: [GIGABYTE-B75-D3H if i choose i5 3550] & [
ASRock z77 extreme6,
ASUS P8Z77-V PRO
Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H if i choose i5 3570k]

If i choose 3570k i afraid i'm not been able to buy any graphic card because of my tight budget.

I want my PC for future games also. I don't know much about overclocking but might be use in future that's why I choose this i5 Ivy bridge processor.

Could you please suggest me which is good for me???

Go for Intel i5 3550-13.5k+GIGABYTE-B75-D3H-4.5k,It'll be within your budget and you'll have cash to add GPU later. The K series rig would cost you 11k more considering 3570k+Asus Z77 mobo,It's better to stick to non K rig,Go for it.:)

Go for the following configuration, you will be good for ~3 -->4 years of gaming on high-medium detailing --

Intel Core i5 3450 ~12500/-
GIGABYTE-B75M-D3H ~4500/-
Corsair Vengeance OR G.Skill RIPJAWS 2GB x2 ~1800/-
AMD HD7850 2GB ~16000/-
