PC Peripherals Need PSU for my GTX 960 based rig

Its not the temperature which it can withstand - it is the internal psu temperature at which measurements are done. So if a PSU is tested in a real cold environment, you'd be able to pull more power out of it than a hot environment.

Antec's low end stuff is normally rated at 40 degrees. 400W is enough for a 960 to be honest. You don't neet 500-550W. I'm running a 7970 GHz edition card on a 550W and it doesn't break a sweat.

So should i go for Antec vp550p ?

If it fits your budget, it definitely is a better PSU than the corsair CX. However personally I'd still buy a seasonic over both.

Seasonic is slightly higher price and service is a problem. Just need a PSU that doesn't burn my components.I'm using my CM thunder for almost 2years and i haven't faced any problem yet.My brother plays Dota and cs go for hours on HD 6670.Everythings fine.

s12 430w for 4k

seasonic eco series is also an option

btw, corsair's warranty service is not that great. members here have had issues so it's best to go with the least likely to fail.
according to this link a 430w psu will do - http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm
and here's the psu tier list for a rough guide - http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

I think i should go for Seasonic.For safe side,i'll buy S12II 520w..But i read that seasonic s12ii are not compatable with haswell.I have Core i5 4440.

Will it cause any problem ?

They are perfectly compatible with haswell - I was running an S12II 620W on a haswell rig for a few days before I got my S12G-550.

Ok. Some having issues with booting because of c6/c7 are enabled. The solution is turning of those in bios. I wonder what happens if we turned of c6 and c7. More CPU temp ?

My s12II box says haswell compatible fyi. The newer revisions have this fixed.

Well the s12 got replaced by s12g. If you wanted fresh stock, you should have bought s12g. As long as the product is new and unopened, it should be fine. Warranty starts from the day the product was sold.

But G is gold not bronze. And yes product is sealed.Added link..what about voltage reading +3.3v rail shows 3.4

Most motherboard sensors misreport. To get the real voltage, you have to measure with a multimeter.

E mailed Overclockerszone. They said 5 years warranty from date of invoice. Regarding box info, they said sticked wrong labelled. How can these sellers stick labels if product comes from Seasonic.[DOUBLEPOST=1437445673][/DOUBLEPOST]
