In a bid to stop those annoying buzzing sounds from the fan, and to save a partially damaged PSU from further damage, I'm looking for a pure sine wave inverter for the entire home. I have no idea what brand to look for, so please suggest what I should be buying and how much it will cost. And also some suggestions for a separate inverter for the computer alone would be useful.

Please help. :)

Side note : My PSU has been damaged. It's been outputting low voltages recently and framerates in games have taken a hit. I'm guessing the overuse of square wave inverter over the past year is the cause.

APC BI1000I or Su-Kam Shiny

tell other details like hours of powercut, how many appliances you want to run in addition to your PC, PSU rating/brand etc

@abhifusion
I see sites like homeshop18 selling inverters for just 5-6k
Are they just boxes & Do you require to purchase battery seperatly ?

I guess so....you have to check what are equipment u'll be using when there is power cut & plan your battery needs accordingly.
Even am planning to buy a UPS/ Inverter for home.
My requirement is a 40'LCD TV, 6Tubelights, 2 Fans, & a laptop. We are currently having daily powercuts in Hyd, 2+2 hrs everyday!
Please suggest me what wattage I have to go with & how many batteries I have to buy.
