Need recommendations for a 2.0 or 2.1 speaker.

No extra features needed except volume control. Sound quality is important, volume is semi important.
Will be used with a desktop and laptop interchangeably.
Must be compact enough.
Must not operate on USB power (must be 240VAC mains powered).

Budget <=5k.
