Hi,
Please recommend some parts for me.

1.CPU cooler(budget -No budget as such but i'm not willing to upgrade the cabinet right now)
I've having overheating problems so I'm just looking for something that will keep the processor cool and maybe do some moderate overclocking. Thinking of getting Corsair H60(because of the space constraint) but if something provides better cooling and comfortably fits in the cabby in the same or lesser price range I will buy that instead. Like there's no way I want to stuff a Noctua NH-D14 in there.

2. 2.1 Speakers(budget <2k)
2.1 speakers with decent quality. Will be using for some casual gaming and movies occasionally.

3.Wifi adapter
Recommend a good quality wifi adapter. PCI or USB whichever is better.

4.Good Keyboard (budget(<2k)

Here is what I suggest --

1) CPU cooler Noctua NH-U12P SE2 ~3900/- OR Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO ~2400/- OR SVG Tech HOC 20 ~5000/-

2) Speakers -- Altec Lansing BXR 1221 ~1100/- OR any particular model that catches your fancy on D-Day, prefer if you can auction them at the shop with a few of your favourite tracks.

3) I use this one and am pretty happy with its performance. Still let others pitch in with their views.

Well for a good keyboard in that price range, you have the following options --

TVS GOLD Mechanical keyboard ~1500/-

Microsoft Sidewinder X4 ~2400/- Microsoft Sidewinder X4 Keyboard Review | bit-tech.net / Review: Microsoft SideWinder X4 Keyboard : Ghost In The Machine?

Hope this helps, Cheerio!!

Thanks for the quick response,
Only doubt I have is about coolers. I read reviews of SVG tech and though they are just a few the reviews are positive, but I have few more doubts.

1.Is HOC 20 available for retail in bangalore.?
2.How does H60 compare to Noctua NH-U12P SE2?
3.How does HOC 20 compare to Noctua?

4.And someone please answer my wifi adapter question. What should I go for PCI or USB. My initial thoughts were that PCI is better since I get an extra USB slot free and it's maybe faster(?).

1) To be honest I have never used closed loop water cooling kits in my build [as they are forbiddingly expensive for me], I have a Noctua NH-U12P SE2 currently in push-pull mode cooling my AMD Phenom IIx4 965 B.E. 3.4 GHz @1.3 v [slightly under-volted].

These are the temperatures I get with the same, I live in Delhi and do not have an AC in my room, ambient temperatures are mentioned in the screenshot too.

I am satisfied with these temperatures, I had a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ till recently [I sold it in March], it was a pretty good cooler I can vouch that the temperatures that they would give would be not greater than 5 degrees of the Noctua.

So after this I leave it upto your imagination whether the Cooler Master / Noctua air cooler is sufficient for your needs OR if you need a Corsaitr H60 / SVG Tech HOC 20.

The HOC 20 defeats its competition the Corsair H60 by a clean margin as is evident in all of the reviews and costs a little lesser too. Here is deal thread* that @nikolain [proprietor of SVG Tech] is running on TE.

I had already answered your Wi-Fi query, I am not well versed in those matter so I can only provide the details of the wireless USB adapter I use. It is a USB pico-adapter and I am happy with its performance [it is N 150-compatible].

I would like to correct you here, it beats a H80 :) , as for retail it is not available in any cities yet, but through Online purchase only, if you don't want to go the Liquid Cooling way you can also try AOC 120DT, it will surely hammer Noctua NH-U12P SE2

Thanks #nikolain. I would have definitely bought HOC 20 if it was available locally,I don't like getting stuff shipped. Its also a little too much for my needs. Deciding on buying Noctua NH-U12P SE2.

#ALPHA17 - Dude come on, I know what a hyperlink is, I just clicked on it and forgot about it somehow. Anyway, thanks for the help.:happy15:
