PC Peripherals Need recommendations for wireless keyboard and mouse

  1. Need a few recommendations for wireless keyboard and mouse.
  2. Strictly no gaming, just casual everyday use.
  3. Full keyboard preferred and mouse should be light (my 6 yr old son would also be using it).
  4. Looking for long battery life.
  5. I will be using it from a distance of approx 4-5 feet.

using a wireless mouse in front of a tv sitting in sofa would be a pain. instead try to get a keyboard that has touch pad. makes life easier.
 
That's not how I'd be using it. It'd be specifically for the PC and my 6 yr old son who's learning computers would also be using the same from a more ergonomic seating option. That's the reason why I am keen on a full keyboard. Right now the Logitech MK270 and 330 are the best options from what I've gathered. Let me know if you have some other options too.
 
I looked at those, but I guess I am old-school a bit and wanted a mouse instead of a trackpad. Now that I think about it, I don't even use the trackpad on my notebook :)

Anyways, I've gone ahead and ordered the MK330 through amazon. If I don't like it I'll just return it and get something else.
