Since summer's at the doorstep and the temps already rising, I want to go for some coolers.
1. I need one CPU cooler. (fitting both P4 478 and AMD A64 754/939 sockets)
I already have one SI-120 and its great. is there anything better than this. its actually for my other rig.
2. VGA cooler for XFX 6800GT
3. Northbridge cooling. (stress on minimum noise. dont want whiny 40mm fans. no no.)

basically I want less noise around me and am looking at silent cooling solution - water cooling is an option i'm looking at.

did some searching on the watercooling part. found that innovatek's premium xxs and zalman's reserator 1 plus have got good ratings. problem with innovatek is that the site (www.innovatek.de) is fully german and i haven't found any dealer/retailer shipping it to india. basically i dont want anything shipped to india as it would be expensive. I'm either getting it myself or will get it from singapore through someone(anybody got anything from singapore?).

so suggestions please. and also give the prices for the coolers...
thanks

I have all you need spiteful pentium.
but i am keeping the TT BT and the zalman ZM-WB3 Gold WB for myself.

if you want the Zalman VF 700-CU LED "Blue" graphics cooler then PM me. its brand new , unopened package.
actually had got it for the x1900XT but since the original sapphire h/s itself is so good i dont think i would be eager to change that hence the sale.

hmm. ok. but if i'm getting stuff from abroad i might buy the whole works rather than split the buying. If that does not work out, will definitely contact you.

btw you are using only the WB from zalman's righT? using local pump/reservior/radiator???

Price update:
zalman reserator 1 plus costs about $400(SGD) which works out to approx INR 11k.
good water cooling kit and has got a lot of positive ratings
in the reviews (guru3d, bigbruin etc).

problem is that you dont get the northbridge waterblock. you need to
buy this seperately. waiting for the price.

Instead of that, u can get a TT Big Typhoon or CM Hyper6+ for $75-80(SGD). Unless u wanna OC like crazy, water cooling is not worth it.

1. Big Typhoon is max. $60 shipped... it's up there with the likes of the Thermalright XP/SI and Zalman 9500. Watercooling is good if you want to reduce the noise in your PC or OC... if you want to OC, invest in a good kit which will cost $250 - 400 USD or you won't see results way better than air cooling

2. Zalman VF700Cu or NV Silencer 5 - PERIOD (btw, VF900 also launched ;))

3. Uhmmm... check out the north/southbridge coolers from Zalman - they supposedly work well with the VF700

I would not suggest the Zalman Reserator. It is aimed more at quiet cooling than overclocking. A good XP-90, SI-120 would be almost as good at a much lesser price.

You better buy a Dangerden WB and other pump,s rads(you can get this here only), etc..... Dangerden also make complete kits.....

yes... that's what the reviews said. Its more on the noise reduction side than cooling. And again, yes, its only just better than the XP-120.

I dont have any idea about local pumps/reserviors/radiators. Anyone?

where do I procure the DD WB from? the complete kit's for around $180 (USD this time) If really dont mind getting the above things locally and just the waterblocks from abroad.

1) I am getting the radiator custom made here in mumbai. just waiting for the guy to quote me a reasonable amount.

The design is "inspired" by those thermochill rads.....

2) Pump: i can get it from specialised markets for it in central mumbai .....will decide upon AC or DC depending upon the noise levels ...

3)Distilled water + coolant + fungicide is no problem, can get it from any automobile parts shop @ opera house , Mumbai.

but after seeing the new intel w/c apparatus for projected $50 ~ $80 i wonder if all this is worth it now .....

Also heard that OCZ is soon introducing phase change cooler for a mouth watering price ....
