Dear Mods, Admins and senior/honorable members/TE Fellas,

I need some serious attention with an indecent behavior from an reputed member here.

Name of the TE member: thebanik (Mr. Madhusudan Banik)

He was selling his Mobo (MSI X58 Pro-E) without proper warranty for 7.3k

I transferred him the money 3weeks back and asked him to send the mobo ASAP.

He promised and committed to dispatch the Mobo ASAP and that he will message me the docket number which has not happened till date.

I didn't receive the mobo for the first week hence I started following up with him well he was responding very stating that he is busy at work.

I took it positively and kept my patience.l

2nd week I again followed up with him and this guy said that the package is stuck with the courier due to non-description of the items (Noobish excuse from an senior member).

I again kept patience and requested him to dispatch the mobo ASP.

He gave me wrong mobile number for which I started chasing him. Later to posting in his thread he replied with the correct number i.e. by giving me a miss call.

Now when em calling his number it says me to check the number. Have been trying from yesterday and now I am loosing my patience.

3 Weeks is more than an busy excuse. I am working as an CTO (Chief technology Officer) and I am too completely packed and loaded with thousand of issue and lot of work. I am here and on TA from a long a time but I never gave any false commitment.

I' am not declaring that this guy is a cheater.

but I can be certain that this guy is not honorable as he does not respect others patience.

Also I don't understand that how come all my communication with him on TE got deleted from my inbox and sent. Admin request you to look into this matter. PM's received from other members are intact.

I don't know whether this guy is intentionally doing this or he has genuine issue but this is certainly what I didn't expect from a senior member like him.

Mr. Madhusudan Banik if you are reading this than I want you clarify things in public else I will be forced to take some very strong Legal actions which I don't wish to do. I have all the Gmail and Gtalk evidence saved and archieved but I' am an gentleman and would like to see you as an Gentleman here and resolve this issue by either dispatching the mobo else refunding my money.

I am sorry I had to come here publicly but you are not contactable nor are you responding to my messages hence I am forced to drag our issue here publicly.
 
^ i know banik personally he is a reliable guy. and he is in new delhi only. i will try catch up with him and see if i can have the boards shipped to you :) .

edit : just had a word with him over the phone . his number is working fine . its with blazeflash so i cant pick it up from him. but he is yet to give in a declaration it seems thats why its held up at their end. i guess banik will be here soon replying to you :)
 
Shahbaaz, people in Delhi will know that I am in middle of 2-3 things and hence completely out of time, already have told you the reason for the delay, also I never put the mobo on the thread, it was on gtalk that we confirmed the deal, never did we communicate through PMs hence the missing details maybe, :), though ofcourse that doesnt make any difference. I havent been able to get the issue resolved. If you want I can either try for tomorrow or else can give your money back today.........Let me know asap coz I will be logging out again in a few minutes....

Shahbaaz, the man in question is indeed a busy guy. I had some interaction with him in the past and most of time, i found him to be traveling (though, within the city only :rofl:).

Ok, jokes aside... I can assure you that Banik is no cheat. There could have been some miscommunication but otherwise this guy is a true geek: simple, passionate about technology, and in no way a fellow out to gobble a few thousand bucks
 
Since ure here and I don't want to take the trouble of opening another screen on mobile I have shipped ure gpu today and will send u the no. Tomorrow as my office guy shipped it on the way home...it has been sent by dtdc

We really need to address these things. Every time anything like this comes up, there are guys either justifying the delay or others who are gunning for the seller.

This stops here at least in this thread. There is no need for others to point out how good a guy someone is, and there is also no immediate need to crucify anyone yet.

OP, in future, try to get the deals on TE platform if you want to be sure and on the safe side. We cant really do much if deal is done in private.

Banik, please try to get this solved soon. 3 weeks is a long time.

I know how busy one can get, there was time when I wouldnt get to log onto TE for weeks at time, but once you make commitment and accept money, please follow through promptly and on time.

If and when the issue is resolved or if anything of relevance needs to be posted here, please do so.

Others, please stay away for now.

3 weeks time is beyond any reasoning and cant be substantiated by one busy schedule. If one is so busy, how he is getting time to post his item on forum. If it is like one is so busy not getting time for food and on hunger for longer period like 3 weeks, it is FINE and PERFECTLY ALRIGHT :hap2:
 
Guyz and Mr. Banik

I had to personally pickup the mobo from an random courier as the mobo was lying around for 2days and no one was bothered to send the mobo. Seller should had opted for better courier like Bluedart, DTDC, etc.

Also the mobo that I received is in terrible condition. Seller had said that little Vasaline was left on the mobo while dispatching and that it will not harm. This communcation was given post selling the mobo and giving it for Courier which was lying around for weeks.

Now the one end pf the mobo is bent, pins are completely bent lotsa dust and lotsa sticky vasaline. Anyone looking at it will puke on the condition of the mobo.

This was completely disgusting. I was finding lot of diffuculty to trace the courier but as per the courier company's update on the website it was at sanpada which was traced luckily by my friend and our Colleague Vijay aka Predatorvj aka buygaming stuff.

My Worst experience on TE ever. Have dealt with lot of TE and TA fellas but never experienced this shit.

Sorry Mr.Banik but this had to go Public. I hope you either refund me the money or get me replacement of the mobo. As the warranty is void due to PCB bent.

Unfortunately I am at home and the picture size is 5MB+ hence will need time to upload Photos over the internet.
 
This is highly unprofessional from Mr Banik.Once a seller receives the money he has no business keeping the thing with him for more than 1 day come what may.
Morever after the deal is done if a seller say there is n amount of damage on the product ,however small it is,buyer has the right to refuse the product and cancel the deal.

Mr Banik please be sport and refund the amount. You are a old reputed member here and we hope it remains so.

Guyz, don't pull that I am blaming Mr. Banik.

This sometimes happens but one can take enough precautions and keep communication clear so that we don't have an issue.

However as Banik he is refunding the money for the mobo.

I was so exicted and happy for finally building my power rig, well but all lost hopes.

Seems like I will have to invest more money and buy some new mobo.

Now em short on cash as already bought brand new CPU and brand new 5850, also invested in rams worth 8k + Thor Hammer.
 
must have been a very frustrating experience..good to know the matter has been resolved and seller is refunding...these type of gestures keep the trust between forum members and sellers alive...

however things could have been a bit faster

but i fail to understand the purpose of vaseline on MOBO, why would any one do that
 
err....ever tried DICE or LN2 benching ;)?

Vaseline is used to keep away the moisture formed by condensation of water vapors in the air due to the ultra low temperatures(i.e. -78 degree for DICE, and -180 degreed for LN2).

Though i am not supporting banik or discriminating SV but one should expect some kind of a hiccup if going in for a second hand stuff. You just cant have everything.

Possibility does exist that it was shabaaz who made an error himself. Didn't thebanik say anything about he condition of the board? If not, didn't you ask or insist for some pics?If you have seen the pics of the board before buying but later realized that you didn't want a board with such a condition, shouldn't you blame yourself? This isn't the first time people create such threads to get a refund and usually in such cases, its the buyer who didn't do much research- I think it happened with a buyer who bought a soundcard and later realized that its not compatible with an OS? In such scenarios, buyers are to be blamed right?

If you didn't ask about the condition or the pics, again its you who should blame yourself. I mean- YOU ARE THE BUYER, so did you do the needful?
 
This is perhaps the last time we have allowed a market feedback thread to run for a deal which was not done on TE. Dont treat this forum as a judiciary for all incidents that happen on the net.

If anyone wants to start a market feedback thread, post a link to the market thread where the deal was done. The market thread must exist on TE without which deals done on PM will also not be entertained and feedback thread deleted without notice.
 
hmmm....let me see, You started this thread because it took 3 weeks to reach the shipment to you. Where I was in touch with you (over gtalk atleast) and kept you updated about the status. I agree I took a lot of time to ship it. No excuses there.

Now as soon as you said you were not satisfied with the motherboard over the phone( mind you I didnt even see any update on this thread), I returned back full money to you, (though ideally i should have asked you to return the product and then return back the money after checking the condition of the motherboard myself but still considering that you waited for the mobo for a long time I never said anything and simply refunded). Also I told you not to show it to any local repair shop but according to the last call 3 weeks ago, you did show it to even a repair shop. Now it has been almost 3 weeks that the money was sent but since you received the money you have been unreachable on Gtalk though you are online but you prefer not to reply or leave a message. Last update was 13 days ago that its packed and will be shipped soon.

Isnt it so easy to blame???? So who is doing the indecent behavior or who is not an honorable guy anymore?? And as I see you have already broken a commitment (which according to you, you have never broken) that you made that you will be shipping back the mobo ASAP. Btw you can take your own time in shipping, just reopened the thread to say,

"People who live in glass houses should not throw stones"
