Yes i do have Sony 1350 MA AAA battries and they rocks, even bought 2700 MA Sanyo with Ripvan charger and getting same perfomance from last one year. But Ripvan dosent support AAA so bought separate charger for AAA.

Any one tried Eneloop ? I use them with my Olympus Sp-500 .. never felt I am out of battery .. although I have 2 set.

Remember to get a good charger, the battery life depends on charger most. with digital camera .. try not to using the LCD when not needed. Set the auto sleep to 5 sec .. (if your camera fast enough when wake up).

use wise .. you should get good result. LCD is the most power hungry part in camera .. next is ur optical zoom motor !

I Have Canon A 630 with me. I have taken 4 sanyo 2500mah batteries with the electronic charger (For 950/-)which will automatically turns off it self when charging is complete. For the first time i charged them for 2 days completely till the charger turns off it self..
But i was able to use it just for once(took around 100snaps) and after that the batteries are really gone worse. they r not able to last atleast for 5 snaps.....even the charger is not turning off automatically after 3 days charging also.I dont know whether the prob is with the charger or the batteries...The shop keeper is saying that they are working fine.....
Some one please help ........

^^ Probably they are duplicate. Do you have warranty or anything sort of? Probably that might help.

@Superczar
you need to use a electronic charger....transformer based chargers ruin NiMHs within a few cycles

Is it true? Then you probably helped me not to ruin my 4AA Eveready 2100 series NiMH ones that I use for a Canon digicam. Thanks.
Actually the charger got fried one day with a loud bang just after I had given it for charging. I also bought that for 950 bucks last year or so. It gave me good service till that day.
But Eveready service sucks. I haven't found a single service centre in Kolkata. Anybody knows any place where these electronic chargers can be repaired here?
That was why I was thinking of getting a transformer based charger but gave up the idea.
Any good NimH battery set (4) available here? Sony, Panasonic and Sanyo ones sold here are probably aren't genuine so don't want to try those. :)

Go and look in sonyworld :D they have AA batteries on sale and at least those are genuine :)

Rs 400 for 2 (2500mAh)AAs

picked up 4 batteries last week

Fotofast also has similar original ones on sale. They had a sony charger(same as sonyworld, import stickers n all) with 4 batteries (2100mAh though) for 1050

check out ebay.in man

also, be aware when you buy these batteries. Lots of fakes are available in the market. It's better to buy from a reputed camera shop with bill.

Personally, I have been using camelion 900mah AAA batteries and 600mah AAA eveready batteries. I have a uniross charger and the eveready charger.

The eveaready charger is a decent unit, and will not damage your batteries as it is in essence a trickle charger. The uniross is a rapid charger with trickle charging to top off the batteries.

I have noticed that the camelion batteries last approx 15% more than the eveready batteries, and not the 50% they should

i found 4*uniross 2500mah+charger for 1k at planetM in powai...will buy me a set when i can change my signature

how do electronic and normal charger differ in look?
