Hey guys planning on taking a new mobo for my AMD 64x2 6000+, i am currently looking for something which will let me upgrade my processor in the future with onboard GFX and preferably DDR2 and DDR3 compatible RAM slots. So please suggest me a motherboard.

I do have a ATI HD3650 will be shifting to 260 GTX once CODMW2 is out in nov and i was looking at something around 5kto6k if it has DDR2 and DDR3 support can increase my budget.

Well as I said, no mobo supports DDR2 and DDR3 both. For best on-board graphics, consider the Biostar TA790GX 128M (ATX,5.5k) or TA785GE 128M(mATX,4k+).

They have Hybrid CrossfireX tech, so you can use your 3650 with the onboard HD3300 and get better result. :)

Asus M3A78-EMH HDMI

ASUSTeK Computer Inc.

MSI K9A2 CF-F AMD- 790X and SB600 Chipset

These 2 Would greatly suffice ur needs within budget of 5-6.

asus and msi both support hybrid crossfire for ur current card.

try opting for msi since it has 2 pci-ex 2.0 so that u can cf later if u buy ati cards.

dude ,
the OP is not demanding only ddr3 mobo,
he wants it wid ddr2+ddr3 (nt possible),
and ddr3 mobo wont b under 6k,
he is ready to increase budget only if both r found together...

Your current cpu will not support ddrar anyway so forget about it. You can go for an am2+ board, for which the options have already been given

ok have a buy on it. if you dont need any output like hdmi its good for u..

but only if u r on extreme budget opt for the used one.

else like i said previously take a look on msi board as its 790G + 2 pci-ex 2.0 slots for adding a ati gpu later.(CF Setup) if planning in near future.

MSI K9A2 CF - F

5565 + 4%VAT = 5787 + shipping from lynx-india

Better go for MSI 790GX-G65 @7k
