Storage Solutions Need suggestion for new DVD ROM drive

Guys my five year old LITE ON DVD ROM DRIVE has gone bad. Need to buy a new one.

Which one to go for?

Samsung

LG

Sony

any other brand

Go for LG, i am using one IDE and another SATA. IDE one is 3years old, still working. SATA one is perfect too.

LG all the way.Had an old IDE one which served me for 5yrs and now I have 2 SATA LG DVD writers. Have been working flawlessly so far.Will cost you around 800-850 bucks.Bought the last one at around Nov 2011 for 825 +vat I suppose.
