PC Peripherals Need suggestion to buy Printer for Photo Printing confused Laser or Inkjet ?

Hi Friends

Need suggestion to buy Color Printer only for Photo printing, my dad bugging me since all photos are in digital format and he wants hardcopy like film camera .
I am confused which printer will be best for photo printing laser or inkjet I don’t want to compromise on quality want the best but also want economical to maintain as well (cost per page and refill) ,
Dad approved budget of 30k for laser printer but can stretch up to 35k if good option available .

Buy inkjet for photo printing. You can look at Epson R230x. costs appx. Rs. 8000. CISS very easy to uase with it.
 
have you factored in all the costs
printer (one time) + consumables : photopaper + ink (expensive :( )
do check out the rates at your local studio also
 
I can't help u choose printers but, if u buy Ink-jets then after using the printer, take out the cartridges and wrap them very carefully with a polythene(make sure that it{polythene} does not touch the place from which the ink comes out.) and place it inside the refrigerator(normal case not in Ice cube case, otherwise it will be damaged).In this way your ink don't dry up unnecessarily.
