Budget 31-40k Need Suggestions for a Laptop

A friend of mine is looking for a laptop. His budget is under 35k.

His general use would be a bit of programming on VS 2010, watching videos and a bit of gaming.

The 2 models that we found are -
HP Pavilion G6-2005AX
Lenovo G580

I could not find much details on APU Quad Core A8.

HP - For programming, videos etc., the processor should easily suffice and the GPU would definitely be an advantage. The only question is - Is it comparable to a 3rd Gen i3 or i5 processor?

Do suggest any other model that I might have missed out on.

Please Advice.
 
I am having the same dilemma, i need to retire my main PC and want to move to a laptop as the gaming usage has reduced, however i would want to play some of the titles occasionally.

request the gurus to please advise, my budget and requirements are almost the same as the OP

found another version of the same laptop with Windows 8 - HP - G6-2201AX

has anyone used these laptops, hows the usage and gaming experience?
any better deals apart from flipkart.

In the above price range the only dell laptop with graphics is Dell inspiron 14 Dell Inspiron 14 4050 Laptop (2nd Gen Ci3/ 2GB/ 500GB/ Win7 HB/ 1GB Graph): Flipkart.com
which comes with 1 gb graphics AMD Radeon HD 7450M which is a entry level middle class graphics,it can run very few games in lower settings.

According to my knowledge,Either buy a AMD CPU + AMD GPU combo or a Intel + Nvidia. Intel + AMD GPU don't gel that well.
So either go with HP(heard a lot of good reviews about it,But does have heating problem) or Asus(heard a lot about it and it even comes with ice cool tech).
The choice is yours.
 
@Frankenstein's_Monster : Useful info buddy. I am also on same boat with prabs & Parix. Do u think Dell Inspiron 14/15 Turbo or R lappy good to compare with above 4 companions. Any insight or suggetions?
