Intro: I have a thick beard, that grows into a sexy jungle after a couple of days.
Current situation: I use Gillette's Shave Gel (the one that does not require a shaving brush) + Gillette Mach 3 razor (preferred, it gives me a really smooth, nick-free shave; better than the Mach 5) + Gillette Aftershave. I have about 5-7 minutes to shave everyday; I do not have time for a straight razor and shaving cream and a brush.
I am looking to upgrade my shaving gel and my aftershave. I have not tried any other gels, but I want something that will give me a smooth shave with my Mach 3 razor.
I did try several aftershaves, including Nivea aftershave (did not like the feel), Nivea aftershave Balm (very, very greasy) and L'Occitane Verdon aftershave splash (a bit mild and a bit expensive). Will try Old Spice this week.
