Need suggestions on buying a tablet. iPad?

I'm planning to buy iPad and was considering iPad3. Wanted to check where would be the best place to buy this online and if it's worth the price. Most probably this will be gifted to a family member. Heard about iPad mini launch but not sure. Should I wait for it?

It would be primarily used for browsing, watching movies,listening to songs and occasionally to take pics.

Waiting to get some responses from you guys.
 
You can buy a new ipad 3 16gb wifi only from homeshop 18 for 26800. The offer is valid only for a day so hurry.
 
As per your requirement - Samsung galaxy Tab 2 (P5100) can also be considered, it cannot match the 3mp resolution of Ipad and bit behind in terms of camera and GPU.
 
What tablet you want to buy boils down to your usage. Accorsing to your usage, a no frills tablet like the new iPad is suitable. Apple products are fixed price and unless you come across a super awesome deal, you are not likely to find any differences in prices. Just go to apple.com, go thru the iPad specifications and buy according to your requirements from apple store.
 
Right now there are no deals for the iPad3 Wifi model online.
Looking to go for Sulekha. Today Sulekha rep was telling that coupons will be available using which we can get it for lesser price.Anyone knows where I can get coupon for Sulekha?
Also are Sulekha and HS18 reliable? Why do these guys give such discounts? Anything fishy abt the products they sell?

I want to go for Wifi only model.
