I'm asking 3 or 4 because i was preparing a big list of good things that i would post here(TE) so that anyone can refer to that when they are building their pc.please help.

If value for money is important, you can consider coolermaster HTK002 for125rs,tuniq TX2 etc.Not as good as the MX2 or TX3.you will see a differance of 1-2 degree.

how many times can it be used ...

i mean is it a one time application...

or it lasts for 2-3 times

^Dude AS5 is electrically conductive so if not applied carefully, it might short the other components in the vicinity of the core/IHS.

I'd vouch for MX2 - tried and tested, inexpensive and performs pretty well.

^^

With TIM not available, these are my choice, from IT Depot:

Arctic Silver Matrix Thermal Compound

Sunbeam TX-3 Extreme Thermal Compound

Sunbeam TX-4 Extreme Thermal Compound

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound

Now...what is good.

Here you go, four options like you asked:

1. Thermalright TG-1, 2. Noctua HT-1, 3. Tuniq TX-3/TX-4, 4. Arctic MX-2/MX-3

All of the above will cost between 450-550 bucks for a 3g tube

Nothing beats TX4, find it on theitdepot @ 440+shipping, I'm getting one as soon as I buy a H70

so a 3g tube lasts 4-5 times.....

150/5 =30

so the dow corning one(50 bucks single time use) is costlier than cm htk002

damn it!!

should have got the htk002 one
