Need Suggestions regarding AMD Athlon II X4 630/635 and AMD Phenom II X2 550BE/555BE

Hello guys,

I am new here. And from Kolkata.

Recently I bought PowerColor HD4770 512mb DDR5, but its being bottle-necked by my CPU AMD Athlon X2 3800+ @ 2.2 GHz. So i wanna upgrade my CPU and also like to shift from DDR2 to DDR3 ram, thus need a decent mobo.

I am in big dilemma regarding the proccy, which one shud i go for Athlon II X4 630/635 or Phenom II X2 550BE/555BE ?? My sole need is for gaming, so suggest me accordingly.

And regarding mobo i was thinking of MSI 758G-E53 or 758G-E65. Right now i will only add 1 stick of 2 GB DDR3 1333 MHz ram and will add one later as i am short on budget. My budget is 13k-14k max (Can't exceed more than this now). Please let me know the price of the items and availability in Kolkata.

Plz help me in this regard.

If your only need is gaming,better go for Phenom II X2 555BE.

gigabyte ma785-usb3 + phenome 2 X2 555BE + 2GB GSkill RAM = 13,000INR

i am using the same combination except the ram and am more than satisfied

thanks......have u able to unlock the 2 xtra cores on this mobo........??? also unlocking of 2 cores put any stress on CPU if its @ stock speed......???
