Need to help build a server for a friend who is an accountant.
his needs are
running windows server 2003.
will be accessed by 20 nodes.
which procy to go for?
how much rams?
which hdds? raid 0 / 1 / 0 + 1 / 5 what will help him?
Is there any thing where central server can be accessed by dummy nodes meaning no processor / mobo in node only monitor / KB and Mouse?
What else needed to do?
any other company making good servers with little customisation?
what about Linux, his sources are discouraging him from using linux?
now i am not much knowledgeble about this so suggestion / solutions are most welcome.
