Yes it's a good choice. But I would recommend getting the Intel DH67-BL motherboard instead of the H61 motherboard.

Intel Core i3 2100 - 5500

Intel DH67-BL - 5100

Corsair 1x4GB 1333Mhz - 1350

TOTAL - 11950

If you are thinking of ordering from that website, it is more expensive. If you're looking for ordering online get it from SMC International or Prime ABGB.

Another piece of advice, just w8 till 28th September if you can, since prime is going to have a big sale, prices of certain items might be lower.

Also instead of getting the i3 would recommend the PDC 620 if you do not need the performance of i3. Spend that money on more RAM/ a better SMPS, maybe?

Hello

Is there any performance difference(like in gaming) between dh67bl and gigabyte H61M-D2-B3. Asking bcoz i don't require features like 2 pcie slots, more usb ports,6gbps sata port and hdmi.

Big NO for up-gradation under 10k. Instead wait & increase budget & go for good PSU from SeaSonic, Corsair up to 3k

It also has USB3 which would be future proof. Also it has RAID support.

If you don't need these than you can get the ASUS H61-M LE for 3200.

As for gaming performance, there won't be any difference as such.

It's recommended you get a better PSU like the FSP Saga II 400w for 1900 or the Corsair CX 430V2 for 2200.
