Need Suggestions to buy a new Laptop in the range of around 30k

Yes I'm talking abut K53TA model.

No, 520mx is way better than HD3000 and even 6520. Remember, 520MX is overclocked model of 520M.

yup i know man, but the i3+520 mx at 29.6 and HP 630 i5 second gen+ intel hd for 30.6k is making me confused on which one to buy as later have the proccy with turbo boobs and the former with good graphics...!! again HP 630 is having 500 7200rpm HDD too !! what you think.....any particular suggestion on llano laptops?
i really have no idea about them !!
 
Llano gives you a good mixture of processing power + good gfx, as a whole package. If gaming is your priority, then go for Llano, or Intel. Turbo boost will help in encoding-decoding tasks.
 
can anyone please tell me how is the display and sound quality of Asus laptops compared to other brands like Sansung/HP/Sony/Lenovo
 
^^ Wondering the same thing too.. Considering the fact that ASUS gets more recommendations as VFM products. They don't even come up in search sometimes. :(
 
^^I know that pretty well. According to your link the laptop has 6520g + 6650m = 6720G2 gfx which when compared with standalone 6630, stands no where. You compare yourself- 6720G Vs 6630M.

Check in notebookcheck, 6720g2 is placed much higher than 6630m, infact higher than gt540m.

Read the review carefully. 3d mark 11 of above gives higher score than gt540m. Still there a lot of improvement gonna be done with drivers as it is crossfire.
 
So can I buy k53ta? I'm a bit concerned with the poor viewing angle screen though, compared to the HD LED screen and the likes.

BTW, I can't find the laptop anywhere.. Any help?

That is the best you can get for budget of 30k. Ya its viewing angles are poor. You can check in asus exclusive shops or in croma.
 
hey guys what about playing HD movies on x53ta....as core clock is less though its turbo quadcore it can reach 2.4GHz......hope running 3 browser+multiple tabs+firewall+av+some music application wont slow it down and make it hang every now on then?

Processor has got very less role in playing HD movies, rather graphics are the engine to move them on. And multi-tasking is totally dependent on RAM.

Come on it can easily handle those tasks and its a quad core, it can multitask easily.check the reviews of amd llano's, its really good for the price given though not on par with intel SB.

have seen core2duo laptops with 2.2Ghz....even they take time in opening pictures and HD movies....if you are opening multiple tabs, it will be cumbersome to operate

not always...how can one explain one with 3Gb ram but still hanging while operating a photo application by canon and transfering the pictures to USB device...it was entirey because of my friends C2D 2.2GHz laptop...bought 2 yrs back...so thats why the concern !!
