Hello guys I need to buy a new GPU and my budget is 12k MAX ... My current Rig is i5 2400 with 4 gigs of Ram(G Skill) CM-GX 450 PSU,B 75 MOBO and Samsung 32 inch LED.....
Please suggest me a decent GPU for HD gaming I am about to go for sapphire 7850 but as I saw a thread out here with MSI 7850 power edition failing so I am still confused which one to go for :scared14:
So help me out people to make a good choice....

Try and extent your budget and get HD7850. Should be available for around 13k.
Else get Nvidia GTX650Ti or look for a used 560Ti.

Sorry that was a typo. :p Edited.
Yeah, if you can go with hd7850, that's surely the best :)

okz thanks a lot bro... but I still would appreciate some more opinions out here...

Any 7850 users out here please help...

I am using Sapphire 7850 with dual fans for more than 10 months now. Its working like a charm, touchwood...

However, I should warn you about one issue that I am facing with this card with almost every game. Frame skipping. Google it.

Frame skipping results in laggy performance as the FPS, even if it is more than 60 FPS, keeps fluctuating between 59 and 60 which introduces lag. It has become too much of a headache. But, I must say, it can be my processor also, as its a 3 core 720 BE OCd only to 3.3 GHz..... nVidia users have no such problems of frame skipping/jittery performance..

aah thats very much of concern to me man i dont need any kind of problem with my card after investing 12-13K in it... Now I am more worried about AMD :scared14:

Dont Generalize the problem to all AMD Cards .I own 7870HD and its working like charm. AMD cards are still best bang for buck .

Let me put out some facts if choice is between 7850 and 650ti

hd7850 can handle 1920x1080 games easily whereas 650ti is card for 1680x1050 gaming (considering very high or ultra setttings)

Also with 650ti u can not do SLI whereas 7850 supports crossfire.

650ti is at best match 7850 in some games which are optimized for nvidia . else 7850 is the king all the way.

In the performance/price ......7850 is still best card .

(One more the interesting fact , all next generation consoles PS4 , Xbox 720 have AMD Graphics , so future looks bright)

if you have some requirement for physx and cuda processing then for 650ti , else for hd gaming 7850 is way to go.

You are right bro and my choice is also HD 7850 but by reading some posts regarding card I am little scared that should I actually go for the card... I don't want anything bad happening to me after I buy the card... Bw 650 ti is not the best deal because of the SLI disabled (and this very bad from Nvidia) so I am still hesitating to go for it... also firstly my choice was MSI because they have very good built quality and rock solid cards... but after reading the post with MSI I wont buy it just because its the problem with the particular card... nothing like AMD is not good enough... BW thanks for helping... and please also tell me whether you ever got problems like vertical lines while browsing or distorted display etc?

I havent observed any vertical lines while browsing or distorted display yet . There were some issues with 13.2 beta drivers but now with 13.1 whql drivers everything is back to normal .

What about the Sapphire 7850 2GB Normal/OC Edition do they both have the fluctuating issue ?

I am looking to buy a good GPU for Crysis 3

And why is this?

Completely out of your budget, unless you want to spend up-to and over ~15000/-, then you can consider it.
Just prefer nvidia... no hard feelings for amd though just like first preference nvidia.. ya I know this is way above budget but just looking for someone to sell gtx 660 or 560 ti

Don't even think of getting a GTX560Ti it is not worth investing in it unless it is going ~9000/-. The card is a generation old.

Also, what SMPS do you have currently powering your system?
