HI guys,
Currently using a 27-inch native 4k monitor from Samsung for the past 3+ years connected to my 2016 MBP 15-inch
I want to upgrade to a nice monitor within 1L budget. 50-75k would be sweet spot.
MY usage : HDR movies (Apple TV ) > normal productive stuff > mild gaming connected to ps5.
Things I really want :
1. usb-c connectivity from my MPB ( I really don't want to use 3rd party cables / adapters in 2021)
2. 30+ inches preferred curved display , hopefully matt screen and ultra wide.
3. I'm used to 4k display , so don't want any 1080p panels and want sharp high resolution.
4. HDR quality for watching movies in HDR
5. Good refresh rate for gaming (better than 60) and be able to connect to ps5. I'm no hardcore gamer and mostly play racing games.

I don't do any colour editing or anything so as long as movies look good , it's fine. Don't need speakers also.

I have watched too many YouTube videos and articles and still torn about what to buy.

Hopefully I get some good advice from you guys.
Thanks for looking.

I think a TV will better suit your needs since main use case is media consumption. Only thing is you will be restricted to 4K 60FPS. But since you are looking for monitors, here are some of them which seem to fit your need

@vaibhavyagnik - Thanks for the suggestions.
Do TV's come with usb-c ? Any good recommendations on that? Do usb-c to DP or HDMI handle the max offered by display from my MBP?
Acer predator looks good , but my current monitor is IPS , not sure how wide the viewing angles in this are. And what refresh rate can I expect on usb-c?
LENOVO and Dell are slightly out of my budget.
Alienware looks good too with ultra wide . Not sure how usb-c to display port cable can handle 120hz and gaming on ps5 be. I'm not sure about the aspect ratio.
Just found out MacBook pros don't support more than 60hz even on external monitors , so I have decided to ignore the high refresh rate and also save some money on the monitors.
So, now requirement is just for productivity and watching movies and videos.
I have trouble deciding between 2 bend models which looks similar but has 20k price difference.
Decided to buy one of these as I think it has 32-inch 4k screen with eye care technology and also HDR with usb-c connectivity .
Can anyone tell me if the more expensive monitor is worth it considering one costs 32k or other costs 52k approx?
I don't really use monitor speakers as I think my MBP has much better than that.
I would like them to be curved but no curved 4k monitors available from what I've seen except one from Samsung.

Thanks.

From what I understand, your top priority is HDR and movie playback - A TV will suit you the best and you can get very large screen sizes at cheap prices. A TV will also cater to your mild gaming needs with the PS5.
Coming to productivity, you need a monitor but refresh rate is not important as it just work. Even 60 FPS will do. So my advice would be spend like 40-45K and get a HDR10 from motorola, Nokia, Mi, OnePlus, VU and in another 20-25K and get a 27 inch monitor. I am assuming you have the space to out of them in your room
