Audio Need to Buy a Home Theatre

hi, i have a 27x13 feet wide hall.. Im looking for a decent home theatre to fit in it with my 55 inch screen.. My budget is around 25k, because i have been told i will need to buy an amplifier to enhance the sound the budget for an amplifier is seperate... Anyone kind enough to recommend some products ??

There are 2 Polk Audio HTs. One for 25,000 and another for 29,000. Choose your picj.

Aren't they only speaker packages? There is no AVR amp in the package included.

Utkarsh, what you can get for your 25k budget are sub sat packages or htibs(home theatre in a box).

There is the Energy Take 5.1 and other options from jbl, polk audio in this range.

Also you have htibs from Onkyo(3200), sony, Philips for the same price.

Try to get an audition of these and decide according to your sound quality and connectivity requirements.

There is also the Logitech z5500 for about 17k

Right now im looking at Harman Karter 5.1 system with sattelitle speakers with sound of around 200 wats and a Sherwood amplifier RD-7503 with HDMI 1.3...

Good Choice ??

Utkarsh, I am not familiar with that avr. will check. Pl dont fork out for an avr with hdmi passthrough. Its pretty much worthless. Hdmi will be any good only if atleast hd audio decoding.
