Looking for a monitor, screen size does not matter. Purpose is Internet,Coding work or movies, so response time does not really matter to me. Full HD is welcome but not necessary

DVI would be preferred. Budget is 6-7K. I can further increase budget, I can get a good IPS panel instead of TN Panel. I saw Samsung B2030 -- Really Like the design but color reduction is okayish.

Please suggest something.

why dont you get benq g2200hd !

full hd 22" ! nice monitor for 7.3k !

but the samsung one you mentioned will have a better picture output !

if you want bigger size get benq else the samsung is a very good choice too ! :)

benq g2200hd sounds tempting but then its benq. if it would have been samsung or dell; I would have brought this one without seconds thoughts. Does Dell or Samsung have anything similar in this range?

If not, then how good is Benq? I never owned a Benq product till now. so worried

I dont own one but from the feedback from the members it seems the G2220HD is a decent panel and good VFM. Wait for owners of the model to comment about it.

Don't have a G2200HD but using a BenQ E2200HD since 1.5-2 years and pretty happy with it .Colours etc are fairly accurate .No backlight bleeding problems etc.Nothing close to IPS panels ofcourse but one of the best TN panels Ive come across .Hope this helps :).

What is the difference between G and E series? And what would be other options in 22" in same price range?

And, about Dell UltraSharp U2311H which is a 23"inch Widescreen, IPS panel and costs double the price of 22incher which currently I am thinking of(14k). I know IPS panel is better than TN Panel but is it worth it to pay double price and get just one inch of screen real estate in return. Is color reproduction that noticeable ?

^ yup it is ! especially if you are a gamer !

the quality is just superb !

but if budget constraints get benq g2200hd (e2200hd just has an hdmi port that you dont need)! you wont be disappointed :)

Well depending on your usage and what your aim is like if you are an image editing professional better to go the IPS way if not stand back and stick to TN otherwise you really don't notice the aforementioned difference in view quality ( also consider IPS if HD movies are a staple )

Hope this helped :)

hi,

I am almost final on Benq 22"inch. So wanted to ask can G2220HD be wall mounted? and how much would the stand cost?
