sony 32v is 40k in the grey mkt & ur best bet or the 32s for 35.5k
panasonic lx75 32" with bill is available for Rs.37,690 at croma (checked yesterday)

There are two hitachi models...L32S01 and L32A01. The only difference between them are the number of HDMI inputs... 3 in S and 1 in A. Everything else is the same. Take a look at it. IMHO colors on the hitachi are significantly more accurate than the Bravia which tends to give an oversaturated look to colors. Yes it pops out when you see it the first time but then thats not how things look in real life.

Technically as well the sony with an S-PVA, can't match the hitachi with an S-IPS.

What kinda pricing is available on these Hitachi's Plz.( Store price as well grey )- am looking to buy a 32 incher my self, need it for my mom.( at present got a Sony Bravia U300-32inch from Grey six months ago- have had no probs with this.)

@vijay: dude y change when u hav a perfectly workin sony?? the difference although there is not something to upgrade ur product over.

An hitachi 32" lcd is for 41k wit b&w.. grey market prices i dnt knw.

hitachi lcds arent available readily in grey markets atleast in bangalore, but it will definetly be more expensive then the sonys.

Sony Bravia-U300 I already have - looking to buy another 32inch TV- looking for something better than Bravia U300. Had heard a lot about Hitachi- but I think will look to another Bravia from Ghaffar- perhaps a S310 or if I can -KLV-32V300A/B

Its around 43 grand with warranty. No idea about without bill prices.

Instead of creating a new thread I will bump this one and see if it works.

I need a LCD TV (between 32-37 Inches)

Will mostly be viewed at 8 feet or so.
Primary usage will be Dish TV / DVD and Xbox 360.
Most important usage will be the Xbox 360 video games. So would like one with a VGA input if possible.

Budget under 45 K from grey market. So which is the best one I can buy for that kinda dough?

in grey markets hitachi and toshibas are available only on order, but for some reason there isnt much difference b/w grey and showroom .but there is a significant difference in price in sony, samsung.so u can get a sony KLV-32V400A for 41k in grey ,not yet released officialy in india.

do also check out the new panasonic tv that have A-IPS panels the TX-32LX75C1 and TX-32LE75C1 both are available in the grey market.
