I have a budget of $1400 to buy a 15.4" laptop for school. I'm considering the TOSHIBA Tecra A8-S8514 because it has Win XP pro and I heard Vista is still very buggy. I'm also considering the ASUS F3 Series F3SV-B3.
Here are the minimum requirements:
1. at least a 120GB 5400 RPM HD or larger and faster.
2. fingerprint reader
3. 15.4" screen
4. CPU type: at least 1.8G either duo Intel or AMD
5. OS: Win XP Pro preferred, but don't think that many new laptops have XP anymore.
6. Decent video card(I will use this laptop for school, not for games)
Anybody owns any of those two models? Any other suggestions?
