Laptops Need to buy Original Laptop's motherboard

Hi guyz,
My friend owns an HP laptop model no - HP Pavilion TX 2000. He needs to get his motherboard replaced by original HP's mobo. So where he can get original mobo for his laptop?
 
u cannot buy original motherboard from india via hp service center they will accept only warranty or repair plus charge might cost an bomb

so better sell the non working laptop and buy new one before u investment some amount and the hp has poor service due to not attend any customer care ;)
 
I tried in market and a dealer told me they would replace the whole motherboard for around 7.5k bucks. That motherboard will be exactly as hp motherboard but it will only have warranty for 1 month. But he made sure it will not create problem for atleast 2 years.

Anyways I agree with you also and ready to sell my laptop, but not sure anyone will buy non working laptop. :(

I just checked the specs, this being a tablet PC (is it?), its better for your friend to replace the board, as he will not get much for the dead lappie, expect 5K max(doubtful), he must have spent upwards of 50K for it in the first place.
