But very expensive on EBAY india site .

Couldnot get it through friends as they are already in india and had brought lappy for their families

my actual requirement is a light weight laptop which i can carry to college ..

peformance and light weight are main criteria ..

its ok if it has onboard intel graphics ...

Did you buy the laptop ? I am also looking to buy a new laptop and Toshiba Portege has caught my fancy. Currently i have my office laptop which is a Portege R700 and i find this laptop very lightweight, screen size just right and this has prompted me to think in the portege direction.
