Hi All ,

My brother has an old laptop which has an old 5200 rpm drive .
Was saying that bootup process was pretty slow .

suggested he go for Momentus drive instead of a Vanilla one .

Does it really is that much of an improvement as need to give a good reason to him
( coz it has about 2k-3k premium over Vanilla drives ..)
Also have another question ( will raise in forum again) is he currently has around 250 gb drive , while is going to get a 500 gb one ,

How can he Map all data from old drive to New one ?.
(He doent seem to have been given OS setup and not sure of recovery disk )

get hold of seaget momentus xt.

it has 4gb flash that acts as buffer.

it does speed up overall experience.

It is classic hybrid drive with Flash memory and hdd

if not seaget specific, you can also check out WD scorpio black.

mapping data---he has to use acronis or norton ghost which will help him making image and putting it on new disk.

clean install of windows will make it real performer.
