Buy the Fuji Finepix S5600 Digital Camera.

I'd go with either the Fuji Finepix S5600 or the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ5.

The Fuji Finepix has a nice SLR-like body, and from reviews - it is *very* fast with no shutter lag. However it does not have an image stabilized lens - this is a very important feature to consider when using long zoom lenses. Long zoom lenses are more prone to camera shake during hand-held operation and you will end up with blurry images. Hence, some form of image stabilization is recommended. It does have an "Anti-blur" mode that helps minimize this effect - basically by maximising shutter speed.

The Panasonic DMC-FZ5 a pretty good camera and its strong point is its outstanding Leica lens (Leica makes some pretty good optics). To add to that, the lens has optical image stabilization as well. All in all a good package.

The Nikon Coolpix S4 looks to be more like an point n shoot kinda model aimed at the typical "compact camera user". Its not in the same league as these above 2 cameras (doesnt have image stabilization either). It is pretty new as well, so not many reviews on it as yet.

i dunnno if i should buy from jjmehta..

should i? cause i heard from an aunty of mine that the wait period is 4 months!!!! darn i cannot wait that long .. :( .

and where would i get nikkon or fuji cams .. other shops around anyone?

The best option is for you to visit him and check out both with your own eyes.

IMO, both the options I listed are good. I cant pick a winner between the two :ashamed:

ooooo so the panasonic looks like its darn good. eh...

ya blur images is a kind of problem..

but seriously does it really blur a lot???? i mean so much so that you can make out shit abt what you have just clicked??

cause i`m kinda more inclined towards fuji.... but if no image stabilization then it might be a bit too much to handle for me :(

ok panasonic doesnt have manual focus. .do i need it..

my requirements are also better image quality in low light.... and whichver one offers that better i`ll go for that..!
