Need to go back to FROYO 2.2 in my P500 - plz help

Guys. I am desperately in need of help. Recently updated to GB in my wife's P500. Since then, the phone has become very slow, TS response is bad, freezes with black screen sometimes, etc. So she wants the flawless , wonderful froyo back. Plz help guys. I hope it can be done by me without taking to service centre and without voiding warranty...

Try some custom ROMS before you make up your mind to go back to the stock rom.
You can always google to go back to stock rom.

Well you will have to search for the indian froyo download link in the xda forums. Mostly it is the v10e version. It will be android 2.2.2. Then you can flash using kdz flasher. Better yet, take it to service centre . They will do it in 15 minutes.

KDz is a moody sort of code. Yes, Things can go wrong, But nothing that cant be remedied by a visit to service centre

If you upgraded to official GB, your baseband has been changed. I am not sure if by using KDZ you can go back to Froyo. You have to downgrade the baseband first.

Why not try out a new custom ROM?
