Mac OS Need to install hackintosh, but keep my windows installation untouched.

but keep my windows 7 installation untouched, like running mac osx on different hard drive and I get an option in start up to choose what to run.

Secondly is Apple care protection plan for my mb air 13.3 recommended ? is it worth it ?

You can't leave your Windows installation intact unless you install OS X on a separate hard-drive. You MUST format the drive with a GUID partition scheme, there is no way around this.
