Need To Partition The Unpartitioned Space

When my PC formatted, some GB's left unpartitioned and now i want them to partition and use as one drive... Space would be around 15GB
Is this possible to format now and get it as a drive?????
If yes, please briefly respond how to do it....

if you are using XP just go to administrative tools in control panel > computer management > storage > disk management ...u will see the unpartitioned space....create a partition by right clicking it...then format it with a new drive letter

If you want to create a new partition from the partitioned free space then do what Ronnie suggests. If you want to merge the free space into your main partition then you will have to use tools like partition magic, acronis or gparted.

Acc. to me use Norton Partition Magic 8.05
